Steven L. Brooks is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, practicing from the firm's Rogers office.  He represents clients across the state in structuring acquisitions and dispositions of privately held companies and related capital formation, in commercial transactions and real estate including syndication, in commercial lending and out of court restructuring, and in taxation of business enterprises.  Steven's practice is concentrated on capital formation in connection with private offerings of securities and related tax matters, complex commercial lending transactions, corporate, subchapter S and partnership taxation, IRS and local audit protests, and planning for start-up companies. 

Steven also represents clients in the fast growing and active Fayetteville Shale, including a proppant manufacturer (frac sand), landowners and well operators, with respect to a variety of business, merger and acquisition, tax, land use, regulatory and environmental issues.
